The 2007 ADDY Awards competition is the industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest standards in the industry.

Deadline for entries is Wednesday, January 24, 2007.

Hold the date - the 2007 ADDY Awards Show is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Cox Capitol Theatre from 6:00 to 10:30 pm.

All the winning entries this year will be wrapped up in two great awards, Gold ADDY Awards and Silver ADDY Awards, and all winners will receive attractive awards - to display with pride!
And, Again, No Messy, Time Consuming Mounting of Entries!

No black board or foam board mounting of physical entries.

All entries are to be submitted in appropriately sized, transparent-plastic or manila-type envelopes (found in most office supply stores and catalogs).

Three-dimensional and campaign entries are to be submitted in a similar fashion.

All television and video is to be on DVD only, formatted to play on a consumer DVD player.

Audio CDs are the only accepted audio format.

Single entries are to be on separate CD/DVDs, campaign entries are to include all components on one CD/DVD with a navigational tool.

For all Website and online entries, submit the URL address, plus appropriate printed 8.5”x11” color screenshots.

Individual Membership - $225
Corporate Membership - $200
Includes membership for 3 people, and is corporate inclusive for ADDY entries. Additional members are $60 per person additional members (must be full-time employees of the member company.)
Educational Member - $150 per institution
Includes chapter charter and 1 faculty AdFed membership. Student membership is $20 per student. Additional faculty memberships are $50 per faculty member.

Defined as alternative, buzz, grassroots, guerilla, viral or word-of mouth. Non-traditional entries MUST be accompanied by proof of usage. (See category definition at number 20)

(PLEASE NOTE on each entry the TV Category, from 42-48, the spot fits into, length and subject wise, in addition to category 75 A-C. This is for roll-up purposes if the entry wins.) ess than $25,000, $25,000-75,000, Greater than $75,000
Remember: Deadline is Thursday, January 24, 2007. All materials must be delivered to the Cox Capitol Theatre at the Drop-off Party between 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Entries must have been published or aired from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006. See Competition Rules for complete details.
WHAT DO THE ENTRY FEES INCLUDE?
Besides the related competition costs (logistics, judging rooms, judges lodging/expenses, etc), your one entry fee also covers the 7th District and the National ADDY competition fees. As you know, all Gold ADDY winners are automatically forwarded to the 7th District and those Gold winners are forwarded to the National competition. At each level, CGAF pays the additional fees for each of the Gold winners. You pay only one fee. (Local silver awards will be forwarded to District at the discretion of the entrant and for an additional fee).
