Becoming a Member

Membership in the Central Georgia Advertising
Federation is open to “persons in good standing in the
community who are engaged in buying, selling or creating advertising;
or
public relations;
or who are connected with business closely related
to advertising”.
(CGAF By-laws, Art. II, Sect. 1, Sept 1983)

Membership
in the Central Georgia Advertising Federation is only upon
recommendation from an active member, and
is subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Dues and Membership Options
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Dues $250/yr
|

Full membership shall include admission at
no charge beyond Full Membership dues to monthly program meetings
and social events (excluding special ticketed events). Full
membership includes full member benefits (voting rights, member
ADDY fees, 7th District dues, AAF dues and discounts).

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Dues $135/yr |
|
Associate membership shall include full member benefits (voting
rights, member ADDY discounts, 7th District dues, AAF dues).
Associate members will pay for their monthly membership meals
and social events ($20.00).

MULTI-MEMBER COMPANY DISCOUNT
Dues $230/yr per member |
|
Available only to companies with three (3) full current memberships.
When three or more members from one company join CGAF at the
same time, the Full Membership is discounted to $230 per member.

ACADEMIC MEMBERSHIP
Dues $75/yr |
|
Academic members must be full-time employees of an academic
institution. Academic membership excludes the cost of the monthly
membership meetings and social events ($20).

AD GRAD MEMBERSHIP
Dues $25/yr |
|
Ad Grad Membership shall be restricted to recent graduates
of a university with an AAF recognized Student Advertising
Federation chapter. Ad Grad Membership shall include the same
benefits and privileges as a Full Membership with the monthly
membership meetings. The Ad Grad membership does require a
$20.00 charge to each meeting. The recent graduate is only
eligible for this membership level for the first year after
graduation.

Membership Meetings
General membership meetings are held on the
3rd Thursday of each month (notifications of any changes will be sent via e-mail). The seated meal starts at 11:45am.
The
Speaker’s
Program starts at 12:15-12:30pm at the City Club of Macon or The Cox Capitol Theatre.
Special meetings will
be announced.

the 7th District (Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee) and
the AAF.
- District Directory -A directory of the entire 7th District,
with names, addresses and phone numbers of
industry leaders throughout the 7th District.
